Shakespeare gives us an opportunity to showcase the historical link between Queer identity from past to present, demonstrating that Queer People have always been here, and aren’t going anywhere. We believe our fresh take on Billy’s material makes it more accessible for not just LGBTQIA+ communities, but modern audiences in general. Shakespeare is fun, and we’re proud to be spreading the message.
Your money will be used primarily to pay the artists: our cast, musical director, and crew. Money not used to pay the artists will go toward funding costumes, props, light, and sound. In the words of the immortal bard himself, “Be not afraid of greatness. Donate to Open Door Shakespeare”
Open Door Shakespeare is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Open Door Shakespeare must be made payable to “Fractured Atlas” only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
